In Top Hat’s student survey of more than 3,000 higher education students, less than one in five students said they do not feel the learning experience has been worth the cost of tuition. Additionally, while students are looking forward to a return to the physical classroom, most want to see elements of online learning continue.

The recent survey aims to determine student sentiments about the learning experience a year into the COVID-19 pandemic: what worked, what hasn’t and how the past year has shaped student expectations once it is safe to return to campus.
