Maggie Leen
Appointed as Chief Executive Officer
Top Hat proudly announces the appointment of Maggie Leen as Chief Executive Officer. Leen has an outstanding track record in higher education, having served as a senior executive at Pearson, Adtalem, and most recently, Chief Marketing Officer at Top Hat. During her tenure as CMO, Leen has been instrumental in shaping the company’s corporate and go-to-market strategy, demonstrating a tireless commitment to helping institutions scale the delivery of personalized, engaging, and equitable student learning.
Larry Indovina
Appointed as Chief Operating Officer
In addition to his duties as Chief People Officer, Larry Indovina has assumed new leadership responsibilities as Top Hat’s Chief Operating Officer. Since joining the company, Indovina’s guidance has been invaluable in establishing a high-performance workplace culture, and driving operational excellence across the business, including his leadership with Top Hat’s M&A activities.

Bill Okun
Appointed to the Board of Directors
Top Hat is also delighted to welcome Bill Okun to its Board of Directors where he will serve as Executive Chairman. Okun has spent the balance of his career in technology and higher education, serving in a variety of board and senior executive roles at McGraw-Hill, Penn Foster Group, Reonomy, and S&P Capital IQ. Drawing on his experience in management, technology, and commercial leadership, Okun will support Top Hat in unlocking value for customers and shareholders by providing strategic guidance to the company’s board and executive team.
