Visual Prompt

A visual prompt is a video, photograph or drawing that increases the likelihood that students will have correct responses to educational stimuli. Prompts are usually accompanied by errorless teaching. Using prompts encourages learning because students continually make progress and aren’t thwarted or discouraged by constructive feedback.

Visual prompts can also refer to extra support that is added in the form of hints or reminders for a person to achieve success in a skill.
