Finals Week
Finals week describes the period at the end of the semester when students write their final tests for their courses. Finals week usually takes place in mid-December and mid-April, at the end of the Fall and Winter semesters. These tests, commonly referred to as ‘finals,’ are usually written by high school, college and university students.
Finals week refers to a summative assessment, usually an exam, that students write at the end of the academic semester. This period is where students apply their knowledge accumulated through the semester in a specific context. Finals differ from discipline to discipline.
