What is
Synchronous Learning
Synchronous learning is where students rely on instant communication, such as instant messaging, to interact with their educators and fellow students. This mode of learning is typically carried out online, where technology helps students stay in touch with their peers and instructors.
Synchronous learning refers to real-time, online communication between students and instructors. Here, learning occurs at the same time, but not necessarily in the same place. This type of learning does not occur in person. Examples of synchronous learning include chat-based online discussions, interactive webinars and live broadcasts.
