SCORM
SCORM is an acronym for Shareable Content Object Reference Model. It is a technical specification for eLearning products and operates well with learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools. The shareable content object refers to the elements of the package that can be repurposed across multiple tools and platforms. The reference model describes the “rules” that everyone follows when applying the content across various platforms.
SCORM refers to technical standards that describe how code should be optimized in order for it to function well with other eLearning software. It governs how learning content and LMS’ interact with one another.
