E-literate is an individual’s level of competence and understanding in the use of information technology. E-literacy comprises the skill set required to make effective use of the materials, tools, and resources available.

E-literate refers to the digital and technological skills required to navigate an online learning environment. Today’s students are members of Generation Z, and are often e-literate from their very young childhood, however, this may be more difficult.
